Mint & Cacao Smoothie
Green Protein Smoothie
This is a simple, great tasting green smoothie. It contains spinach which is rich in vitamins A, C, K, magnesium and iron. This doesn’t taste like a typical green smoothie as the banana and pineapple give natural sweetness to balance everything out. A little squeeze of fresh lemon juice helps to brighten the taste up. The protein powder is an optional add-in, but is helpful if you’re enjoying this as a post-workout drink.

Ingredients
- Frozen Spinach, 3/4 cups
- Banana, 1
- Frozen Pineapple, 3/4 cup
- Lemon Juice, 1/2 lemon
- Protein Powder, 1 scoop
- Almond Milk, 3/4 cup
Method
- Add the spinach and protein powder to the almond milk and blend thoroughly.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Top Tips
You can use kale instead of spinach, but it has a slightly stronger veggie taste.
