Kids smoothies that are bright and colourful are a great way to get kids to increase their fruit and vegetable intake. Smoothies contain a variety of vitamins, minerals and anti oxidants A 150ml glass counts as one of your recommended 5 daily portions of fruit and vegetables.

Due to the “free sugars” released when blending fruit and vegetables, we suggest not giving smoothies to babies under 12 months. From 1 to 5 years, the NHS recommends diluting fruit juices or smoothies (one part juice to 10 parts water) and limiting them to mealtimes.
