Jamie Oliver’s Frozen Fruit Smoothie has made it onto Smoothie School site as a simple but effective recipe.
Packed with fruit, this really does give you the step in the right direction you need for your 5-a-day.
Makes: 2 servings
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- Banana, 1 whole ripe
- Frozen Fruit, 1 glass
- Yoghurt, 2 heaped tablespoons
- Oats, 1 small handful
- Mixed Nuts, 1 small handful
- Milk, 1 glass
- Runny Honey, to taste
Method
- Place the banana, frozen fruit and yoghurt into a blender and blend
- Add the oats and nuts and blend again
- Add your milk and blend until smooth
- Add more milk if it’s too thick. Add a little honey if you want more sweetness
